How did you get interested in your skill?
I often helped my dad who works in automobile mechanics, which gave me the urge to do a little more manual labor. My half-brother works as electrical engineering, a profession that I wanted to learn. That's what made me want to get into the electrical studies.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
At school.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
Our teacher explained the contest and offered to sign us.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
None, I decided myself that I wanted to do this job.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
The immense joy of the podium and be a gold medalist.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
When I received the golden medal.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills .
I have received training through my teacher (Mr. Bregge) and regular exercises at school to improve myself for the contest SkillsBelgium then after winning the medal, my expert began training me for Worldskills in Sao Paulo.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes, because I learned many things in my training to prepare for WorldSkills.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
This is my last year of studies as electro-automatician at Collège Saint-Guibert Gembloux.

What are your future career aspirations?
I plan to study 3 years in automation at the IESN.
