How did you get interested in your skill?
I got interested because the company where I work introduced it to me, I look it up on the Vakkenjers site en got interested.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
In a work place where one of my team mates works.(training for the MTC)
School Stodt en Work Hawo BV (training CNC Milling)

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I have heard about it from people at my company then than looked it up on the internet.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I found it out myself when I was younger end had the opportunity to follow and tryout several classes on school. Then it was my choice to follow my career as CNC miller because I got interested in the nice products that is possible of making with a CNC machine.
5. What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I have had several competitions en qualification matches made possible by the organisation.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Competing in the qualification match in the Netherlands and also the practise match against the team from Great Brittanie (England).

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I learned much about working with a stress factor end still doing the job good. Also I have learned working with Cad/Cam like Mastercam and Inventor.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes I did, I am now much faster in learning other CAD/CAM programmes, because I had to learn working whit different programmes and also working with a stress factor while doing a competition and knowing how to deal with a situation like that.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I currently work part as a CNC Miller for 3 and 5-axis milling machines in the work floor (fanuc,heidenheim) programming on the machine, and part as a CNC programmer for 5-axis milling machines with the CAD/CAM program TopSolid in the office.
I work at Hawo BV in Rijssen.

What are your future career aspirations?
I would like to program more with CAD/CAM than I do now.
I like working at the office and improving the CNC programmes, specially the parts for airships companies and working more with the customer to make the best products possible.
