How did you get interested in your skill?
I always had a fascination for computers at the first place, and then I started spending more time with the subject, creating projects and practising different areas of expertise and this early experience of being curious for computers & software made Information Technology a skill area to be drawn too.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I perused my engineering in computer sciences from Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College and an advanced diploma program in software development from NIIT. They both groomed my skills and motivated me to performing at an expert level.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I got to know about the member organisation – SSC NASSCOM, through NIIT which is also a training partner for SSC NASSCOM.

India has a wide scope and opportunity in the field of Information Technology and that is a motivation for me to pursue my skills as a career.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
It is a great experience with NASSCOM being member organization, the support and motivation which NASSCOM gave me is phenomenal and it’s been great working together as a team.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
The most memorable day at the WorldSkills was the final round of the skills, where we had to compete in a relatively larger module and it was so adventurous and thrilling that I would ever forget in my life time. The most memorable moment was when I was announced as the finalist for WorldSkills Competition 2015.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
It was a great experience in engaging with WorldSkills Competition. This opportunity enabled me to meet people from different states, share experiences, feelings & ideas despite of different dialect. So it was a great experience indeed.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes, participating in the WorldSkills helped me in upgrading my existing knowledge and progressing further with my skills. This competition gave the necessary momentum, exposure and the motivation in specializing the skill.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am currently pursuing my final year in Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and advanced diploma at NIIT.

What are your future career aspirations?
My career aspirations are to find a motivating place of work, a place where I could use my knowledge, skills and abilities and contribute to the field.
