How did you get interested in your skill?
Mechatronic s Skills is highly related to my Final Year Project of my Higher Diploma study.
Software and hardware knowledge were learnt from my project and get interested.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) that I studied my Higher Diploma and learnt basic mechatronics knowledge. And I am having intensive training with the machines offered by IVE.

How did you first find out about your Member organizatio n and its programs?
The Vocational Training Council (VTC) is the Member Organization in Hong Kong which is the mother company of IVE and my supervisor is one of the Mechatronics Skills expe rts, so I was invited to join the competition.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My expert and interpreter, the committees in VTC, they gave us technical support during
training and guiding us to practise.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
The committees were experienced in joining WorldSkills Competition and they are always actively sharing advices to my teammate and I.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
My expert fully supports us and buys us new machines for training. Disassembly the machines that I haven't seen before and assembly it can function well. It make me feel a sense of achievement.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
Actually WorldSkills give me a lot. It's help me to build up my confident and team spirit and enhancing myself both physically and psychologically

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
As a teammate , team spirit is getting stronger day by day. And my role is for hardware assembly in Mechatronics Competition. My skill become more skilful.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I am having fulltime training for WorldSkills in IVE.

What are your future career aspirations?
My dream is continue to develop on Mechatronics trade.
