How did you get interested in your skill?
I was interested in becoming a chef but then I figured I can do that as a hobby. The patch of IT I chose seemed the least unpleasant at the time.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
Mostly at home. ICT-Academy.fi organized a few training camps too.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
From my vocational school teacher Marianna Virtanen who is the Skill Manager of IT Network Systems Administration in Finland.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
It's tough both physically and mentally but in the end it's very rewarding and you feel great.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Our Qualifiers.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills.
There is a lot of stuff to be done and part of me wishes that this was already over. In any case, I am looking forward to august.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Of course. I have learned a lot of new things which has raised my professional skills.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I work as a systems specialist at Nevtor Oy.

What are your future career aspirations?
I will think about this after WorldSkills.
