Competidor por la habilidad 33, Tecnologia Automotriz, me gusta mucho aprender sobre nuevas tecnologias, la implementacion de nuevas tecnologias en el campo automotor que contribuyen a mejorar la seguridad, comodidad y disminuciion de contaminantes, estoy orgulloso de representar a mi pais y espero que la competencia se desarrolle de la mejor manera.
1. How did you get interested in your skill?
Everything started in 2012 when I registered for the Regional competition, I had very few knowledge but I did it because I wanted to learn more. Since that moment I became interested by the competition.
2. Where did you do your training for your skill?
At the beginning I started my training in Manizalez, Bogotá but mainly in Medellín. In the end, I ended up training in Brazil. 
3. How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I found El Sena through Internet. I didn’t have a clue and I supported myself on the internet to find opportunities for studying.
4. Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
Many people have encouraged me along the way, they have helped me with my career and have strengthened my character and those people are very important to me.
5. What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
First I participated in the Regional qualifying in 2012, after in the Regional competition in late 2013. Later I won a gold medal in the National contest and qualified for World Skills Americas, where I received an acknowledgement of excellence. Finally, I won the qualifying competition in order to represent my country in World Skills Sao Paulo 2015. I am currently training for this competition.   
6. Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
All moments are memorable, every one of them with their own emotions and reactions, are unrepeatable.  But the most remarkable moment  I recall is when once I went back home and my mother was reading a piece of newspaper which talked about me, and it was amazing to see my mother’s face, and how proud she was of me. 
7. Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
It has been so exciting and has been a process based on discipline. Having a target and doing the best in order to reach it, has been something very positive, since the competition takes the most out of us and makes us to shape our character.  
8. Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Of course yes, obviously I have learnt lots of things and I have comprehended many repair methods thanks to automobile manufacturers’ study.  
9. What do you currently do?  Where do you work?
I currently am training, I haven’t got a stable job and at the moment El Sena supports me to be able to participate in the competition.
10. What are your future career aspirations?
When the World Skills process has finished, I will work to get money and to be able to study a degree course at university, and in the future, I would like to set up an automotive learning and service company.
