How did you get interested in your skill?
I always wanted to be a baker as a child. My grandpa, my dad and my brother are also bakers. To be a baker has always been my dream.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I work every day and additionally I train twice a week at the vocational school.
On weekends and holidays I train with my Expert.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
The information I got from AustriaSkills.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My father always motivated me and I always wanted to be better than him.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I only had good experiences. They are very helpful and friendly.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Until now the team coaching seminar was the most memorable experience. Due the seminar the team spirit got stronger and we have grown together as a team. That was the best experience so far.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
I have gained knowledge in my profession and improved my skills. It is a good experience, you grow with the challenge and become stronger.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes of course, each team meeting, each training and every preparation helped. We had team meetings for the organization, rules, technical information, tools transport, timetable, work safety and many other things. Training on the team cohesiveness are very important.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I currently work as baker master at the bakery Schachinger.


What are your future career aspirations?
I want to travel around the world and collect new experience which will help me in my future career. My goal is to make further developments in my profession.
