How did you get interested in your skill?
I have always been interested in creative skills and never knew how I could use these skills in the workplace. I then attended the Fashion Retail Academy and studied Visual Merchandising which I loved.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I trained at the Fashion Retail Academy.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
I took part in a competition at the London College of Fashion and following this I was asked by WorldSkills UK to compete for a place in Squad then Team UK.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
My parents, my tutor and my friends.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
As part of Squad and Team UK, I have been involved in a range of training which has helped me develop my skills and knowledge.
I competed at EuroSkills Lille 2014 as part of Squad UK where I won Silver in the Visual Merchandising Competition.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
Getting into Team UK and winning Silver at EuroSkills Lille 2014.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills
As part of Squad and Team UK, I have been involved in a range of training which has helped me develop my skills and knowledge.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Definitely, I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for WorldSkills.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I work at Marks and Spencer as a visual merchandiser.

What are your future career aspirations?
I would love to be in a position to influence the younger generation.
