How did you get interested in your skill?
My interesting about the mobile robotics came from the books and friends. My friends and
I learnt the computer programming, which is an important part of controlling mobile robot.
Where did you do your training for your skill?
I'm training my skill at Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi).
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
Through friends and newspaper , I get the information of my Member organization , VTC, and then I took a higher diploma in electrical and mechanical services.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
The influence came from my friend who learnt program language with me. I aspire to become an engineer, so I want to develop this skill as a career.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
In the past, I was participated WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition and The Guangzhou l
Hong Kong/ Macao/ Chengdu Youth Skills Competition (GHMCYSC).
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
My most memorable moment was becoming the champion of the mobile robotics trade in the WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition 2014.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills It was a great experience as I learnt a lot of new skills in controlling robots . For each
achievement of new tasks, I was thrilled and ascertained that my career development is in the right direction.
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Skills competition certainly raised my awareness on the mobile robotics technology and skills around the world.
What do you currently do? Where do you work?
We are in full time training at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi) .
What are your future career aspirations?
I hope my future career is related to programming and the robot, such as Nl company .
