How did you get interested in your skill? = By the accident I guess, I need a career and building education sounded interesting.
Where did you do your training for your skill?= Just hard training. I carve stones every day in my school and cutting template. I also run and doing other hard training work because I wanna be in good shape when I arrive in Brasil.
How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs? I’ve been visitor about 5-6 years ago in Oulu, where was national skills competition Taitaja. And that way I’ve interested to be apart this whole educational competition system.
Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career? My mom and dad always sayd to me i have to study what ever i want and what ever im interested in.
What is your experience in participating with your Member organization? It’s been pleasure and honor to be a part of Team Finland and this whole worldskills 2015 system. Also taitaja competition in Finland was nice experience for me. I’ve been once competitor and couple times been part of Taitaja in other ways. When I was competitor, my rank was 5th. But Im lot better now.
Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills? It must be that day when I won trials in Finland and heard Im gonna be part of Team Finland.
Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills. This year or two has been emotionally so hard and also hard physically. I’ve broke my hand 3 times when I’ve training this competition
Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe. I’ve advance so much in my carrier. Im lot better than 1 year ago. I know much more about the stones than half a year ago. It’s been only good to me. I think Im gonna get good job when this worldskills project is over.
What do you currently do? Where do you work? I study in my school back here in Lahti, Finland.
What are your future career aspirations? I don’t know yet. I maybe wanna build my own company.
