How did you get interested in your skill?
I got interested in my skill mainly because of my tutors/teachers who directed me and made me focus on this particular skill. From that point forward I got interested myself and I used the opportunity to participate in skills competitions in order to bring my skills to test.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I have done my training at Rakvere Vocational School and for WorldSkills competition additional training at Tallinn Construction School.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
First contact was 3 years ago when I participated first time at Estonian national skills competitions. Next year I took part in Noor Meister (Estonian national skills competitions) again and the result was so good that I was proposed to represent Estonia in WorldSkills.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
Above all the main influence has come from my family and also from my supportive and nice trainers/teachers.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
I have had very positive experience, I have received help and support and I am very thankful for this opportunity to participate at WorldSkills competition.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
The most memorable moment was when I received an offer to participate at WorldSkills and it is still hard to describe the exact feeling.


Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills. Experience is very good, lots of procedures, always something to do, lots of traning and work. Gaining new experience every day.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
All training and practicing has given me huge experience, it will better my skills and resilience to work stress. I feel every day that I can deal with bigger stress and I think that it will also help me in the future in everyday life. I have made progress thanks to my determination and persistence.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
At the moment I work as sales consultant at building supply store.

What are your future career aspirations?
My future career aspirations are to start with my own business which would do mostly tiling, and hence I could do something I really like. In addition I would like to help people and do everything I hold dear to.
