How did you get interested in your skill?
I got interested at the beginning of my apprenticeship; I’ m a really accurate person and like to work with steel.

Where did you do your training for your skill?
I train at my company. One week I will train in Germany on a ROMI CNC machine.

How did you first find out about your Member organization and its programs?
The company I work for participates always at this competition. And this time they chose
me take part. It was a really big honour for me.

Who influenced you to pursue your skill as a career?
I was influenced during my time in school, due to the fact we visited the BMW company, I saw the engineering part an I thought I want to do that.

What is your experience in participating with your Member organization?
The team-meetings were always interesting and a lot of fun. We learned how to cope as a team. I got to know my skills and weaknesses better and learned how to handle them.

Describe your most memorable moment so far with WorldSkills?
The most memorable moment was the national competition for me, I was very proud of myself, because I won the competition and so I will be able to compete with the best CNC-MILLERS in the world.

Describe what your experience has been since your involvement with WorldSkills?
I have made a lot of experiences. We had two team coachings with the TEAM AUSTRIA also we drove to Germany to look at the ROMI machine. And I have learned a lot of new abilities on the CNC machine.

Did participating in the skills competitions and training for WorldSkills help you progress in your skill? Please describe.
Yes it helps a lot, because the work pieces are very difficult to produce. So I learn from work peace to work peace to cope with this difficult situation. And I get better and better.

What do you currently do? Where do you work?
I work at the company GE, a global concern, at the location in JENBACH/AUSTRIA. We build very big natural gas engine, so I do the milling operations for the engines.

What are your future career aspirations?
I will give my best in Sao Paulo and I would like to study engineering in a university.
